Hello, I’m Gareth Cheung

I’m a Los Angeles–based photographer originally from the island of Guam. My work focuses on portraiture, lifestyle, and event photography.

My journey into photography began in the summer of 2013 when I bought my first camera with the goal of making skateboarding videos. A few months later, I found myself naturally drawn to photography, and what started as a way to document skateboarding evolved into a passion for creating images. My work is heavily influenced by the energy and aesthetics of hip-hop and skateboarding culture, shaping a style that feels authentic, dynamic, and human.
